Trigas @ Electra Mining 2024
Trigas, specialising in gas detection and connected safety (more formally known as the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), will be exhibiting at Electra Mining 2024. Our comprehensive product range includes portable gas detectors, fixed installations, and advanced laser-based gas detection systems. Trigas also offers solutions for lone-worker monitoring.
New to our product range is the TWTG NEON sensors. Trigas is launching these sensors at Electra Mining 2024 throughout the Trade Show.
The TWTG Product Range – Product Launch
TWTG specialises in industrial IoT solutions, featuring wireless, battery-powered sensors using LoRaWAN technologies. Their range and benefits include:
- NEON Vibration Sensor: Monitors machinery vibrations for predictive maintenance, identifying issues before failure.
- NEON Temperature Sensor: Measures temperature to keep equipment within safe parameters, preventing overheating.
- NEON Valve Sensor: Tracks valve positions, essential for process control and safety in industries like oil and gas.
- NEON Contact Sensor: Detects changes in contact status, ideal for monitoring doors or hatches.
Blackline Safety Range – Live Demonstrations
(Trigas staff will conduct live demonstrations of the Blackline Safety G7 unit from stand A29).
Blackline offers advanced safety monitoring solutions, including:
- G7 Wearable Device: A personal gas detector with real-time connectivity (can be worn as a gas detector and / or a personal safety monitoring unit).
- G7 EXO Area Monitor: Provides area gas monitoring for extended periods.
- Blackline Live: A cloud-based platform for managing safety data and emergency response.
How Blackline Works:
Blackline Safety products use cellular/satellite connectivity for real-time monitoring and alerts. They continuously transmit data to the Blackline Live platform, ensuring immediate detection of gas leaks and other hazards, enabling swift emergency response and enhancing overall safety for industrial workers.
Key features that are demonstrated:
- A connected vs an unconnected approach – how being connected saves time, thus lives.
- The SOS latch functionality
- PTT Functionality (99 channels, zero distance limitations)
- Two-way communication – text and call the gas detector
- Fall detection
- No motion detection
- Check-in facility
- Live gas readings
- Blackline Live – the platform used to manage the safety of the wearer of the unit and respond to live alerts from the G7 units as well as store and analyse all the data collected from the units, transforming it into information displayed graphically or within exportable tables.
