Driving awareness in the industry
Sisi’s participation at Electra Mining is aimed at driving awareness about the critical importance of tailored female PPE in sectors such as mining, electrical, automation, manufacturing, power, and transport.

One of the highlights of Sisi’s presence at Electra Mining is their sponsorship of the Women in Mining Workshop on September 3, 2024, from 9 am to 1 pm. Hosted by Women in Mining South Africa (WiMSA), the workshop will focus on empowering women in mining to drive inclusive growth, innovation, and decent work, aligning with goal 8 of the sustainability goals.

Dr. Anette Thompson, a specialist podiatrist at Sisi, will highlight the critical importance of female-fitted safety footwear at the workshop.
