Transmission Components was established in 1977 as a sub-division of a large conveyor pulley manufacturing company and later broke away to become the largest locking element and Rigid Flange manufacturer in Africa, supplying some of the best known companies in the conveyor, mining and industrial gearbox industries.

As of February 2015 Transmission Components joined hands and become a full subsidiary of the RINGSPANN group to form RINGSPANN South Africa.

We look forward to continuing all our relationships with our existing customers as well as building new ones under the new name and moving forward into this new era.
